New for 2006 Valley
Sea Kayaks has entered the fresh new Adventure Racing / Fitness market
with two high performance models; Rapier 18 & 20. Two feet shorter
and 4 inches wider than its sister Valley Kayaks Rapier 18 is designed
to comply with the U.S. Canoe Association sea kayak race rules. Instead
of another boring gym membership, try pointing a Rapier kayak toward
a distant point and dig in, feel the efficiency as your hull converts
your power stroke into acceleration. Find your rhythm, its up to
your arms, shoulders, back, abs and obliques. Six knots is easy,
can you get to seven? Eight? Now can you keep it there for 15 minutes?
Finally take a breather and enjoy the view... wow, not a single sweaty,
hairy guy in sight... you may never join a gym again!
Although fast and maneuverable, Valley Kayaks Rapier 18 & 20
are more than just flat-water racers with a touring deck, they are
true ocean-capable kayaks. Paddlers have an option to adjust thigh
control for full-body workouts, or to use a free leg motion for a
strength-building core workout. Rapiers are ideally suited for those
who consider sea kayaking a sporting activity or part of their fitness
regime... and want to Do it Right! |
