SF Blades
Polypropylene reinforced with glass fiber, SF is the stiffest material available in its price/weight class. An excellent choice for a lower-cost touring paddle that still delivers great performance. Durable enough for all touring and general-purpose applications, but not considered suitable for whitewater.
Fiberglass Composite (FG) Blades
Epoxy-fiberglass construction that delivers the thin section and stiff body of a composite paddle in at a very favorable price-to-weight ratio. Nearly as light as carbon composite but significantly less expensive. |
| Kinetik Tour |
Exceptionally efficient full-size blade responds rapidly to acceleration and maneuvering strokes, with cut-away design for longer reach. Ideal for racing, cruising, ocean play; top training choice of coaches.
- Tip-heavy design loads with water quickly, giving rapid response to acceleration and maneuvering strokes
- Cut-away throat allows longer forward reach without hitting the kayak, for more effective strokes
- Provides plenty of power on demand, without the tiring excess area of a larger blade

CF Blades
Premium Nylon12 resin with carbon-fiber reinforcement. The expedition paddler's dream: all-conditions reliability in a moderate to light weight. Comparable to or slightly heavier than fiberglass composite, but slightly less expensive and more durable by about a factor of 3 for cracking, splitting, and abrasion. Outstanding as hard-use sea paddle, also ideal as modern whitewater paddle. Perfect when strength-to-weight ratio is critical, but budget is not unlimited.
Carbon Composite (CC) Blades
Ultimate performance for the demanding user — thin, stiff, and light. Outstanding blend of extremely light weight and very high durability. Excellent for long journeys and competition, as well as high-performance whitewater freestyle. |
| Kinetik Tour S |
Mid-size version of Kinetik Touring model provides proven performance in a size more suitable for smaller paddlers. Extremely efficient, delivering much more power than its modest size would suggest.
- Tip-heavy design loads with water quickly, giving rapid response to acceleration and maneuvering strokes
- Cut-away throat allows longer forward reach without hitting the kayak, for more effective strokes
- Provides plenty of power on demand, without the tiring excess area of a larger blade

| Archipelago |
Highly versatile, with a mid-size asymmetric shape that fits a range of activities, a softer catch for novice paddlers or heavy loads, and a small, efficient power face.
- Small power face guards against fatigue, but is still efficient
- Softer catch is good match for less-fit paddler or heavily loaded boat
