The Symposium itself takes place at Bird Creek County Park in Port Austin, Michigan and camping is available at nearby Port Crescent Park. Nestled on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron, the area encompasses northern Huron County with 90 miles of shoreline. Port Austin and the surrounding areas are quiet and picturesque, enhanced by the beauty of the lake, wooded areas and rolling farmlands.
Lodging
Lodging is not included with registration.
Camp sites are available at nearby Port Crescent State Park. Space is limited, so early reservations are recommended. Call (989) 738-8663 and mention the Port Austin Sea Kayak Symposium to reserve a site. A vehicle permit is required for entry to the state park ($24 annual/$6 daily).

Meals
Other than the catered dinner on Friday night, participants are responsible for their own breakfasts and dinners. Box lunches will be provided for all participants on Friday and Saturday. Take MI-25 E for 13.2 miles
Turn left at Center St/MI-25 E
Continue to follow MI-25
Turn right at MI-25E/Pine/Unionville Rd
Continue to follow MI-25E for 37.2 miles

From the Detroit area:
I-75 N to exit 48 on the left for I-96/US-12/Michigan Ave toward Lansing/I-94
Merge onto I-96W
Take exit 190A to merge onto I-94E toward Port Huron
Continue on I-94E for 61.2 miles
Take exit on the left toward Bridge/Canada
Merge onto I-94 BUS W
Turn right at Hancock St.
Take the 3rd left onto MI-25 W/Pine Grove Ave
